Jharkhand TET JTET 2026 Notification – Apply Online

Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC), Ranchi invites online applications for Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JTET) 2026 for Primary (Class 1 to 5) and Upper Primary (Class 6 to 8) teachers. Eligible candidates can apply online from 21 April 2026 to 21 May 2026.

JTET Eligibility Criteria

Primary Level (Class 1 to 5)

• +2 with minimum 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education
• +2 with 45% marks and D.El.Ed (as per NCTE 2002 rules)
• +2 with 50% marks and 4 year B.El.Ed
• +2 with 50% marks and Diploma in Special Education
• Graduate with 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education

Upper Primary Level (Class 6 to 8)

• Graduate with 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education
• Graduate / Post Graduate with 50% marks and B.Ed
• Graduate with 45% marks and B.Ed
• +2 with 50% marks and 4 year B.El.Ed
• +2 with 50% marks and BA.Ed / B.Sc.Ed
• Graduate with B.Ed (Special Education)
• Post Graduate with 55% marks and Integrated B.Ed M.Ed

JTET Exam Pattern

• Two Levels Exam
• Level 1 : Class 1 to 5
• Level 2 : Class 6 to 8
• Exam Duration : 2 Hours 30 Minutes
• Visually Impaired Candidates : 30 Minutes Extra Time
