Patna Women’s College Invites Online Application Form For Taking Admission In Various UG And PG Courses Through Entrance Test. Interested Candidates Read the Full Notification Before Apply.

Educational Qualification
▶ Vocational Courses Candidates who are appearing for the qualifying examination for the current academic year are also eligible to apply subject to the condition that they produce proof of having passed the qualifying examination with 50% (General category including BC-I & BC-II/EWS) and 45% for SC & ST only and have the required % of marks at the time of admission. ▶ B.A. & B.Sc Must obtain not less than 45% marks in the subject opted for Honours study in the +2 or equivalent examination recognized by the Govt. of Bihar, with not less than 45% marks in the aggregate. Only those candidates who have passed with Mathematics at the Intermediate/10+2 level are allowed to opt for Economics as their Core Course (CC). ▶ B.Com Should pass the +2 equivalent examination recognized by the Govt. of Bihar, in Commerce with not less than 45% marks in the aggregate. OR The Candidates have passed the +2 equivalent examination recognized by the Govt. of Bihar in Arts or Science with not less than 50% marks in aggregate. Note:- Compartment/ failed candidates will not be considered even if they have qualified in the Entrance Test 2021 (Written +Viva ).
About Admission
Applications are invited for admission to the various COURSES being run at Patna Women’s College, Patna for the academic year 2021 – 2022. Application forms for 2021–2022 will be available on the College website (www.patnawomenscollege.in) from 01.05.2021 to 30.05.2021. Forms to be filled in online. Appearing candidates of +2/Intermediate or Equivalent Examination also will be Eligible for the Entrance Test (for UG Programmes) and Appearing candidates of UG Programmes may also be Eligible for Admission to PG/PG Diploma Programmes.
Entrance Test Pattern
The test will be objective type with the use of Blue / Black pen and OMR sheet for B.A./ B.Sc./ B.Com./ BMC/ BCA/ CEMS/ MBIO/ BBA/ AMM/ MCA. The pattern of the entrance test will be as follows :- Full marks : 100 Duration of Exam. : 2 hours No. of objective questions : 100 each carrying one mark, no negative marking • The details of objective questions will be :-
(a) For B.Sc.
General Knowledge and Aptitude Test	10 marks
Physics & Chemistry	60 marks
Biology or Mathematics & Statistics (make your choice)	30 marks
(b) For B.A.
General Knowledge and Aptitude Test Questions related with all major	25 marks
subjects of Humanities and Social Sciences	75 marks
(c) For B.Com.
General Knowledge and Aptitude Test	25 marks
Questions related with the subject	75 marks
(d) For CEMS
General English	75 marks
Media/Precis writing based on picture	25 marks
(e) For BCA
General English/ Quantitative Aptitude/ G.K./ G.S.	100 marks
(f) For BBA
General English/Quantitative Aptitude/ G.K./ G.S./ Reasoning/ Economics	100 marks
(g) For BMC
